If it does not begin in a few seconds, download CamLoop manually. It is a small .dmg for macOS 14 Sonoma or later (Apple Silicon & Intel), notarized by Apple.

Three quick steps once it lands

    Open the .dmg and drag CamLoop into Applications. macOS only lets a camera extension activate from your Applications folder.
  2. 2
    Approve the camera extension once. When prompted, open System Settings > General > Login Items & Extensions and turn CamLoop on. This is the one step people miss, and it only happens once.
  3. 3
    Pick CamLoop as your camera. In Zoom, Meet, Slack or Teams, choose CamLoop in the camera list, then record a clip and tap your hotkey to step away.
