Your video never leaves your Mac

CamLoop records short clips and plays them through a local virtual camera. Your recordings are stored only on your device, in the app's container. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.

Audio is never touched

CamLoop does not record, store, or route microphone audio. When you loop your camera, your real microphone keeps passing straight through to your meeting app.

Anonymous diagnostics (opt-out)

To fix crashes and understand which features are used, CamLoop can send anonymous diagnostics:

• Crash reports and basic usage events (e.g. “a clip was recorded”, “went live”).
• Never any video, audio, clip contents, thumbnails, or personal identifiers.

This is opt-out — turn it off any time in Settings → Privacy.

Payments

Purchases are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details. If you use CamLoop through Setapp, billing is handled entirely by Setapp.
