Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Tallk Asses Coml Ltda ("we", "us"), the maker of CamLoop. By downloading, installing, or using CamLoop you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What CamLoop is

CamLoop is a macOS app that records short clips of your webcam and plays them back through a virtual camera, so you can stay on camera in a meeting while you step away. It runs on your Mac and processes your video locally.

Your license to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use CamLoop on Macs you own or control, for personal or internal business use. You may not resell, redistribute, rent, or sublicense the app, remove or alter its notices, or attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent its licensing except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Free and Pro

CamLoop has a free tier with limited clips and recording length, and a paid Pro tier that unlocks the full feature set. Pro is offered as a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, with a free trial on the monthly plan as described at checkout. Current pricing is shown on our pricing section. We may change pricing, and will give reasonable notice of changes that affect an active subscription.

Billing and cancellation

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles the transaction, invoicing, and applicable taxes, and your purchase is also subject to their terms. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the billing portal linked inside the app (Settings) or from your purchase receipt. Cancellation stops future renewals and keeps Pro active until the end of the current period.

Acceptable use

CamLoop loops your own camera. You are responsible for how you present yourself in meetings and for following the rules of the meeting platforms and organizations you use it with, including any requirement to disclose that your camera is showing a recording. Do not use CamLoop to impersonate someone else, to deceive or defraud, or for any unlawful purpose.

Availability and updates

We work to keep CamLoop reliable but provide it on an "as available" basis. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time. Updates are delivered through the app's built-in updater.

Disclaimer of warranties

CamLoop is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of CamLoop. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using CamLoop at any time. We may suspend or end your license if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above. Continued use of CamLoop after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
